Cockfight leads to 20 dead in Mexico

An American mother within the 20 killed in addition to her 16 years old sister being injured and in critical condition after the cockfight massacre.

Melissa Silva and her sister Arleth Silva, 16, were on a family vacation in Michoacan, Mexico. Both were at the cockfight when the gunfire started to kill people. Melissa, mother of four, was fatally shot at the scene and Arleth was wounded several times.

A total of 17 men and three women were shot and murdered during this massacre at the cockfight in Las Tranjas region.

There’s a gofundme that has started to help Arleth Silva, 16 year old sister, and it claims she was shot in her lung twice and her leg.

Prosecutors say that this was a planned attack by the shooter. Who entered the area in a stolen food truck and began to shoot.
