ASAP ROCKY ARRESTED FOR SHOOTING IN 2021
Wednesday morning the rapper ASAP Rocky was arrested after stepping off his private plane in Los Angeles. This was due to the rapper being connected to a assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a shooting that happened in November 2021 in Hollywood. This was stated by the Los Angeles Police department stating that he shot at a person in 2021.
The rapper arrived at LAX on his way back from what seemed to be a vacation away from the recent rumors of infidelity. He was on vacation in Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna.
According to Los Angeles Police Department Captain Jonathan Tippet, ASAP Rocky; real name is Rakin Mayers, was taken into custody by LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division and booked on suspicion of assault.
Following the arrest, LAPD Detectives went to the rappers home and searched his belonging to look for evidence that could connect him to the case. The detectives have allegedly had ASAP Rocky on their radar for some time and tracked his return from his vacation with Rihanna.
